#1. Cognizant buys digital transformation consultancy AustinCSI
AustinCSI, a Dallas-based consulting company that specializes in enterprise cloud and data analytics advisory services, has been purchased by Cognizant.
AustinCSI, which was founded in 2007, has more than 175 consultants who design and deliver cloud and automation solutions, assist clients in leveraging data to improve decision-making, and improve customer experiences. The company serves clients from a variety of industries, including Fortune 500 businesses.
The acquisition of AustinCSI by Cognizant will enhance the Teaneck, New Jersey-based company’s consulting practice and its capacity to deliver an end-to-end digital transformation strategy.
#2. Houlihan Lokey agrees to acquire Oakley Advisory
Houlihan Lokey has acquired London-based firm Oakley Advisory for an undisclosed sum. 14 specialists will join the Houlihan Lokey global technology group as a result of the purchase.
Oakley Advisory was founded in 2015 and offers clients a comprehensive array of sector-specific services, such as private and public company mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt fundraisings, and IPO advisory.
The acquisition of Oakley Advisory by Houlihan Lokey will act as a huge additional runway for future expansion of the firm. Moreover, managing partners at Oakley, Christ Godsmark and Christian Maher will join Houlihan Lokey.
#3. MNP acquires Quebec accountancy Malenfant Dallaire
Malenfant Dallaire S.E.N.C.R.L., a Quebec City-based accounting firm, has been bought by MNP, a national accounting and consulting firm.
Malenfant Dallaire, founded in 1982, provides assurance, tax, and business advising services to mid-market businesses, non-profits, and government agencies. The firm’s advising services include valuation, forensic accounting, and consulting for mergers and acquisitions.
Speaking about the deal, MNP’s EVP stated that they are thrilled to have Malenfant Dallaire on board as it shares same values and client-centered approach as MNP. Moreover, this deal will enable MNP to reach their full potential by helping more businesses in Quebec.
#4. Charles River Associates buys BioStrategies Group
Charles River Associates has acquired Chicago-based life sciences consulting firm BioStrategies Group.
BioStrategies Group was established in 1995 and specializes in commercialization strategies for pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical devices, and diagnostics in the United States, Europe, and other global markets. Moreover, it specializes in the creation of marketing strategies, the creation of target product profiles, the evaluation of business development, forecasting, portfolio prioritization, investment commercial due diligence, strategic planning, payer research, and primary market research.
The acquisition, which was finalized on November 29, will result in the addition of 17 people to CRA’s bio sciences practice.
#5. PA Consulting acquires strategy consultancy The Cambridge Group
PA Consulting, a worldwide innovation and transformation company, has purchased Chicago-based growth strategy consulting firm The Cambridge Group (TCG).
The Cambridge Group (TCG), which was founded in 1975, specializes in developing demand-driven growth strategies for clients in the consumer, retail, and healthcare industries. The company’s services include corporate and business unit strategy, go-to-market activation, innovation and design, digital strategy, mergers and acquisitions, marketing strategy, pricing and promotion, and organizational and cultural development.
The acquisition of TCG will help PA Consulting’s practice in the consumer and retail sector. Moreover, the TCG team will help PA better meet the needs of clients in the sector who want to get ahead of the competition.
