But as always, we’re here to talk about all the deals that went through. So, this week, although a bit quiet, has seen a few deals go through. Let’s have a look.
#1. PA Consulting buys product design firm Design Partners
PA Consulting, a multinational innovation and transformation consulting firm, has acquired Design Partners, an Irish product design and innovation organization.
Design Partners, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Bray, Ireland, offers product strategy, design for sustainability, wearable technology, human interface devices, and medical device design services.
The company works with multinational clients in the consumer, technology, and healthcare industries, and has produced products for industry leaders including Honeywell, Logitech, and Jameson.
The deal sees PA Consulting extend its design capabilities, and further enhance its ability to deliver the most ingenious products, solutions, and experiences for its clients.
#2. YHB acquires Maryland-based Glass Jacobson
Yount, Hyde, and Barbour (YHB), an accounting and consulting firm based in Winchester, Virginia, has acquired Glass Jacobson, an accounting services & wealth management firm in Owings Mills, Maryland.
YHB was established in 1947 and offers accounting, auditing, tax, wealth management, and risk advisory services to individuals, estates, and trusts, as well as public and private businesses. Healthcare, education, banking, manufacturing, and retail are among the many industries served by the company.
YHB’s acquisition of Glass Jacobsen will provide greater resources to their clients and communities. The firm will be providing the same excellent solutions to their clients with the addition of new and exciting advancements as stated by one of the key members in this deal.
#3. Other consulting M&A deals
- PA Consulting adds innovation agency Design Partners to offering.
- CIMA+ acquires Mississauga-based Ediom.
