#1. NTT Data buys digital consultancy Postlight
NTT Data Services, a branch of the Japanese IT consulting giant NTT Data based in Texas, has reached a definitive agreement to purchase Postlight LLC, a digital strategy, design, and engineering firm based in New York.
Postlight, a company founded in 2015, aids global businesses in the creation of digital experiences through its expertise in building and shipping digital prototypes, platforms, and solutions. Product strategy and design, platform architecture, and software engineering are also provided by Postlight.
The purchase of Postlight by NTT Data will boost its digital application development and modernization capabilities by adding high-end design knowledge with an emphasis on user experience.
#2. BearingPoint acquires Disphere tech and its diContract solution
BearingPoint has completed the acquisition of Disphere tech, a company that specializes in providing technological solutions to commercial operations within the financial services industry.
Disphere tech, based in Germany, assists financial services firms with digitizing and optimizing a variety of sales-related activities, including customer onboarding, brokerage contract approval, video and audio consultations, portfolio transfers, client data management, and GDPR compliance.
Moreover, Disphere tech’s diContract tech platform makes it easy to automate and digitize these processes, while the firm’s advisors help with implementation.
The insurance business is one of BearingPoint’s core industry verticals, with the company offering an end-to-end proposal from strategy and design to operating model optimization, supported by digital transformation solutions. The inclusion of Disphere tech will enhance the consultancy and product portfolios of the firm.
#3. Bain & Company acquires procurement consultancy Proxima
Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, has strengthened its procurement skills with the acquisition of Proxima, a specialty consultancy that has around 300 practitioners in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Proxima, founded in 1994, offers procurement advisory services and procurement transformation solutions to clients ranging from some of the world’s largest corporations to fast-growing, high-potential small and medium-sized businesses across a broad range of supply categories and in industries ranging from aviation to government, manufacturing to banking.
The acquisitions of Proxima will help Bain & Company to establish a global capability dedicated to providing clients with fully-scaled support across all areas of procurement and supply chain.
