#1. Deloitte acquires workforce management consultancy Enforce
Deloitte has bought the Australian arm of Ceridian labor management and payroll cloud technology partner Enforce Consulting, which was established locally in 2018.
Enforce Consulting, which was founded in 2016 in San Francisco by ex-Andersen Consulting partners Tim Dilley and Michael McKay, expanded to Australia two years later with the opening of an office in Sydney, extending its existing Ceridian alliance and implementation and management skills downunder. Ceridian, which acquired Dayforce in 2012, announced its own agreement with Deloitte at the end of last year.
Enforce has been committed to customer success, which matches with Deloitte’s goal to providing clients with high-quality solutions.
#2. Publicis Sapient snaps up Adobe Commerce specialist Corra
Publicis Sapient, a global digital firm, has acquired Corra, a New York-based business specializing in ecommerce consulting and managed services.
Corra, a company which was founded in 2002, creates digital storefronts for brands in the retail, food and beverage, technology and electronics, health and wellness, and B2B industries.
The acquisition of Corra by Publicis Sapient will enhance its ability to provide Adobe Commerce-related services. Publicis Sapient is a Platinum Adobe partner and has been designated Adobe’s global digital experience solution partner of the year seven times.
#3. Armanino purchases business management firm Bemel, Ross & Avedon
Armanino, a nationwide accounting and consulting firm, has purchased Bemel, Ross & Avedon, a business management CPA firm based in Los Angeles.
Bemel, Ross & Avedon, which was founded in 2017, works with top celebrities and executives in the film and music industries. There are 25 people in the firm, including partners Brad Ross and Dean Avedon.
With this deal, Armanino’s business management team will grow to more than 160 people in industry hubs like LA, New York, and Nashville.
#4. SoftServe acquires digital agency Hoverstate
SoftServe, a global IT consulting company, has acquired Hoverstate, a digital agency in Los Angeles.
Hoverstate, which was founded in 2008, concentrates on developing mobile and web-based solutions for clients in the health insurance, pharmaceutical, and life sciences industries. Digital strategy, app development, DevOps, UX, ecommerce, data and AI, and robotic process automation are among the services provided by the company.
The acquisition of Hoverstate by SoftServe will expand the company’s back-office process transformation capabilities on the Pega Platform. Moreover, SoftServe is a Pega Partner with specialization.
#5. Technical environmental consultancy APEM buys Irish boutique
Technical advisory services firm Macro Works, an Irish provider of landscape and visual consultancy services, has been acquired by APEM Group.
Macro Works specializes in landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs), photomontages, 3D visual simulations, glint and dazzle reports, and landscape design from its base in Dublin. The ten-person boutique firm serves clients from a variety of industries, including renewables, infrastructure, and commercial development.
Speaking about the deal, the CEO at APEM Group stated that the demand for technical environmental consultancy continues to grow and APEM are leading the way by constantly evolving its offerings, enabling them to be a greater partner to their clients, people and the communities across which they operate.
#6. Cherry Bekaert adds forensic practice with Legier & Company acquisition
Cherry Bekaert, a national mid-market accounting and consulting firm, has purchased Legier & Company, a forensic and litigation consulting firm based in New Orleans.
Legier & Company, which was established in 1984, specializes in forensic accounting, business interruption services, expert witness testimony, and dispute advisory services. Moreover, the company also specializes in business valuations, damages and lost profits analysis, and investigations, among other things.
The acquisition of Legier & Company by Cherry Bekaert will establish a new forensic and dispute practice.
#7. TSA Management makes second UK purchase with acquisition of DGA Group
After acquiriting Henry Riley just a few weeks ago, Australian project management consultancy TSA Management has made its second UK purchase with the acquisition of DGA Group.
DGA Group, which was established in 1993, specializes in contract and dispute resolution services for the real estate and infrastructure industries. Additionally, the company has (small) personnel in Singapore and Australia.
The acquisition of DGA Group will help TSA Management deliver on its UK and South-East Asian growth strategies while expanding its contract and dispute resolution service capabilities.
#8. Praesto Consulting seals deal for Carruthers and Jackson
Carruthers and Jackson have joined Praesto Consulting, making the new company have more than 100 employees. With this move, the businesses will be able to offer clients all over the world a complete data consulting service.
Praesto Consulting, which was founded in 2009, is a worldwide advising firm that specializes in enterprise performance management (EPM), data and analytics, and customer relationship management (CRM).
Speaking about the deal, the CEO at Praesto Consulting stated that the firm is excited to welcome Carruthers and Jackson. Moreover, the CEO is confident that this partnership offers a new approach to data consulting that will enable their clients to fully realize their data vision, navigating them through each stage of their data transformation journey.
